We all know that Presidents Kennedy and Lincoln died while in office. But for most people, that’s all they know. But here is some very strange information that links the two. Do you believe in coincidences?
There’s The History… and Then There’s The Mystery
Here’s the History…
Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both presidents were shot while in the presence of their wives.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head
Let’s take it a step further…
Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy’s secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were “supposedly” assassinated by Southerners.
Both Lincoln and Kennedy were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.
Lincoln was killed after he printed up “greenbacks” to avoid paying interest to international bankers.
Kennedy was killed after printing up silver backed dollars to avoid paying interest to international bankers.
Still not done…
Lincoln was shot at the theater named ‘Ford.’
Kennedy was shot in a car called ‘ Lincoln ‘ made by ‘Ford.’
John Wilkes Booth spent his last days living alone in a hotel.
Lee Harvey Oswald spent his last days living alone in a rooming house.
John Wilkes Booth ran from a theater and was caught in a tobacco warehouse.
Lee Harvey Oswald ran from a school book warehouse and was caught in a theater.
Booth and Oswald were booth arrested for petty crimes not long before the assassinations.
Booth and Oswald were killed before their trials.
Booth and Oswald both had their fathers die when they were young, and both were survived by their mothers.
Booth had written a speech (rough draft) on slavery, that was never delivered.
Oswald had written a speech (rough draft) on communism, that was never delivered.
Booth had accidentally shot himself in the thigh with his stage manager’s pistol (while trying to clean it).
Oswald had accidentally shot himself in the arm with a .22 pistol while in the marines.
Booth had brother named Junius. He was known to the family as June.
Oswald had a daughter named June.
And last but sho nuff not least…
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was in Marilyn Monroe.
Now… what is the Mystery?
